The High Council of Clan Donald

We have high hopes for the new web site, and want to make this a site that people will come back to often, and can use for information, history, contacts, etc.
There is a lot of work left to do, but the basic information is now posted on the new site, along with information on the 2008 Chiefs Tour, and the 2009 Gathering, which will be a very exciting event for us all.

Glencoe Heritage Trust

The Glencoe Appeal
The Glencoe Heritage Trust was set up by local crofter Alistair MacDonald, a descendant of the MacDonald's of Glencoe in order that this most scenic area of Glencoe remains in local hands.
The acquisition of this land was a rare opportunity for the local community to ensure the preservation of this unique landscape, and to raise awareness of the historical importance of their lands both locally and worldwide.

Clan Donald Society of Edinburgh

The Clan Donald Society of Edinburgh was formed in 1891. The object of the Society is the fostering and preservation of Clan Donald sentiment: to encourage education, the honouring of dintingushed clans folk, and the collection and preservation of records and traditions bearing on the history of the Clan Donald.
